Terms of Service

What this is

FollowUpEasy ("the Service") is operated by Dave Goldblatt. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What the Service does

FollowUpEasy connects to your Gmail or Outlook mailbox via OAuth, analyzes your email conversations to identify relationships worth revisiting, and generates draft follow-up emails for your review. The Service never sends emails on your behalf. You review, edit, and send all drafts from your own Gmail or Outlook mailbox.

Your account

  • You must provide a supported Google or Microsoft mailbox to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining access to your connected Gmail or Outlook mailbox.
  • You may only use the Service for your own email accounts.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Mailbox access

Connecting your mailbox authorizes reading email metadata and selected conversation content, and saving drafts after your approval. Microsoft does not offer a draft-only delegated permission. FollowUpEasy requests mail read/write access so it can understand your mailbox and save drafts you approve. It does not request mail-send permission and does not call send or delete-email operations. Mail.ReadWrite is broad access. You send each draft yourself. You can disconnect in Account to delete our saved credentials. We request Google grant revocation; Microsoft's grant remains until removed in your Microsoft account or through your administrator. See Microsoft access removal. Disconnecting does not cancel billing.

Subscription and payment

  • Try it free for 14 days. No credit card needed. Then $50 a month if you choose to subscribe. Your trial starts when your map is ready.
  • New subscriptions cost $50 a month. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed billing terms.
  • Payments are processed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — monthly or annual — and access continues until then. No refunds for partial billing periods.

Data handling

See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we access, store, and how we handle it. The short version:

  • We store conversation excerpts, summaries, and drafts for contacts we surface.
  • We do not store a copy of your mailbox.
  • We never send emails on your behalf.
  • Deleting your account removes your data from the live application. Provider copies and encrypted backups follow the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content

Draft emails are generated using AI. Our Privacy Policy identifies the providers that process your data. While we work to ensure drafts are grounded in your real conversation history and filtered for quality, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all drafts before sending them. FollowUpEasy is not liable for the content of emails you choose to send.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam, bulk messaging, or cold outreach to people you have no prior relationship with.
  • Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
  • Share your account access with others.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. FollowUpEasy is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: emails sent based on AI-generated drafts, missed follow-ups, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
