Terms of Service

What this is

FollowUpEasy ("the Service") is operated by Dave Goldblatt. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What the Service does

FollowUpEasy connects to your Gmail account via OAuth, analyzes your email conversations to identify professional relationships that have gone cold, and generates draft follow-up emails for your review. The Service never sends emails on your behalf. You review, edit, and send all drafts from your own Gmail account.

Your account

  • You must provide a valid Gmail account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining access to your Gmail account.
  • You may only use the Service for your own email accounts.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Gmail access

By connecting your Gmail account, you grant FollowUpEasy read-only access to your email metadata and conversation content, and permission to create draft emails in your Gmail account. You can revoke this access at any time from your account settings or from Google Account Permissions.

Subscription and payment

  • Your first scan is free. No credit card required.
  • Continued access to weekly briefings with draft emails requires a paid subscription at $39/month.
  • Payments are processed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Data handling

See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we access, store, and how we handle it. The short version:

  • We store conversation excerpts, summaries, and drafts for contacts we surface.
  • We do not store a copy of your mailbox.
  • We never send emails on your behalf.
  • Your data is deleted immediately when you delete your account.

AI-generated content

Draft emails are generated using AI (Anthropic Claude). While we work to ensure drafts are grounded in your real conversation history and filtered for quality, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all drafts before sending them. FollowUpEasy is not liable for the content of emails you choose to send.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam, bulk messaging, or cold outreach to people you have no prior relationship with.
  • Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
  • Share your account access with others.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. FollowUpEasy is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: emails sent based on AI-generated drafts, missed follow-ups, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
